The Generation Gap

The Generation Gap ensures that programs, partnerships, and philanthropic support are held in a structure designed for long-term public benefit.

The nonprofit arm that supports the work of The Sage D Collective

The Generation Gap is the nonprofit structure through which The Sage D Collective’s initiatives are sustained. It exists to steward resources, maintain partnerships, and ensure that the programs we build with communities have a long horizon.

While The Collective develops leadership experiences, field convenings, and market-based initiatives, The Generation Gap provides the charitable framework that allows these efforts to grow through philanthropy, partnerships, and shared investment.

Together, this relationship allows us to move ideas into action while maintaining the relationships and accountability that make the work possible.

What We Power

Through The Generation Gap, The Sage D Collective launches and sustains initiatives that build leadership capacity, strengthen market communities, and mobilize collective investment. This work comes to life through Meena's Manor, our gathering place for people who are intentionally building legacies, creating lasting impact, and embracing the power of doing that work in community.

Meena’s Manor is the evolution of our Legacy Leadership Project, which for five years offered an 18‑month experience centered on coaching, shared learning, and community support. Instead of limiting that experience to a small cohort, Meena’s Manor expands it across the entire Collective. Subject‑matter experts can use the space to teach, host, and share their gifts without needing to be contracted, making leadership development more accessible, culturally grounded, and community‑driven.

Named in honor of Sagdrina’s grandmother, Wilhelmina McGee, an educator whose hospitality shaped Sagdrina’s life, Meena’s Manor is designed for Mutual Aid. It is a place where Collective members gather, rest, celebrate one another, and receive care rooted in Meena’s legacy of love, but it is also a space built with intention, science, and strategy.
